A cricket ball at 140–160kph carries enormous energy. When it hits a rigid shell, physics doesn't care about marketing claims. The energy has to go somewhere, and for a hundred years, that somewhere has been you.
Plastic, titanium, aluminium alloy. Harder materials, same result. They resist penetration. They transfer force straight back into your body.

We're not the first people to make a groin guard. We're the first to ask what happens after impact. The answer was a mathematically optimised gyroid lattice structure, geometry so complex it can't be made through conventional moulding. Co-developed by Ruben Clinton and Elliot Santner, the TruGuard was born after a serious groin injury in training exposed the limits of traditional rigid-shell protectors. The shell held. The body didn't.
That experience sparked 2 years of engineering, testing, and on-pitch refinement with elite cricketers before a single unit reached market.
When the concept came to Aero, the fit was immediate. The Aero P1 TruGuard Groin Protector is now the foundation of a new protection platform, built by the close-body protection specialists.
